Sculptra
Sculptra is a popular addition to plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine procedures performed at Greenford Eskulap clinic in London. Sculptra can be called a sterile, injectable, biocompatible implant that contains elements of biodegradable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It’s structure is similar to the well known in aesthetic medicine hyaluronic acid. Sculptra is an injectable collagen biostimulator and is distributed in 365 mg dose vials. PLLA microparticles work deep inside the skin to replace lost collagen.
What age is Sculptra good for?
Academic research implies that collagen production in humans decreases as patients use the sun and get older. Wrinkles can be the visible sign of collagen loss. Sculptra injections are directed to deep layer of the skin where collagen fibres reside. After implantation the product is filling wrinkles with PLLA molecules. During the assimilation process PPLA pushes the body to produce new collagen initiating redermalization.
