How it works? - Prosthetic procedures at the Eskulap London Clinic.
If you are not sure what solution is best for you, contact our specialists. Eskulap dentist will choose the best option that will consider your health, needs, and wishes. In our Clinic, we offer:
- Crowns (to rebuild the damaged part of the tooth):
- Porcelain crowns on a metal foundation – these are the most commonly used crowns.
- Full ceramic – made entirely of porcelain – gives the best aesthetic effect.
- Porcelain on a zirconium foundation – this crown is very resistant to crushing and is also covered with porcelain from the outside for an additional aesthetic effect.
- Composite crown – most often used as a temporary solution.
- Crown inlays (inlay, onlay, overlay) are another form of classic tooth fillings. They are used in situations where there is an additional problem with support during the prosthetic treatment process.
- Veneers (small overlays glued to the teeth to hide their imperfections):
- Composite – they look very nice and have less durability than porcelain veneers.
- Porcelain – porcelain imitates our natural teeth well. It is resistant to deformation and discoloration.
- Prostheses:
- Skeletal – it is a kind of movable prosthetic restoration that, thanks to a special attachment, does not compress the gums.
- Acrylic – used for large cavities.
